Good work deserves to be found.

Why we started Righteous Websites, how we choose the brands and people we feature, and the editorial standards we hold ourselves to.

The internet is loud, and the loudest brands are rarely the best ones. Somewhere there is a farmer opening their gate to anyone who asks, a soap maker printing the full recipe on the box and a plumber handing back the old part so you can see why it failed.

Righteous Websites exists to find those people and tell their story. Every review, list and spotlight links straight to the brand, so readers can support them and search engines can see who is worth trusting.

How we choose

Every brand, service or person we feature has to meet all four of these:

  • Clean

    Short, readable ingredient and material lists. No hidden fillers, synthetic coatings or vague words like fragrance standing in for a recipe.

  • Honest

    Clear prices, real guarantees and claims they can back up. They tell you where things come from and who made them.

  • Good to people

    Fair pay for the people doing the work, respect for customers and a habit of making things right when something goes wrong.

  • Built to last

    Products and services that hold up over time, from businesses that plan to be around to stand behind them.

Editorial standards

  • Nobody pays to be reviewed, listed or ranked. Our opinions are not for sale.
  • We buy what we test at full price unless we say otherwise in the post.
  • Links to featured brands are real, followed links. We want good businesses to get the credit and the search traffic they earned.
  • If we ever earn money from a link, the brand is marked as sponsored and the link is labeled.
  • When a brand stops meeting our standards, we update the post and say why.
  • Mistakes get corrected quickly, with a note at the bottom of the post.
